"Celestial Solitudes" is a speculative performance exploring the psychological and physical challenges faced by astronauts during early interstellar migration. It portrays an astronaut's poetic dance with an imaginary shadow on a remote planet, set to the metaphorical backdrop of two merging black holes. This experimental installation transforms Apollo mission moonwalking footage into choreographed movements, with the astronaut interacting with shadow projections to express isolation's poetics. The narrative weaves in gravitational wave detection, using the sonification of black holes to enrich the performance's atmosphere and dynamics.
